Privacy Policy
Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) generally prohibits financial institution, directly or through its affiliates, from sharing nonpublic personal information about you with a nonaffiliated third party unless the institution provides you with a notice of its privacy policies and practices, such as the type of information that is collects about you and the categories of persons or entities to whom it may be disclosed. In compliance with the GLBA, we are providing you with this document, which notifies you of the privacy policies and practices of Miller, Scott, Holbrook & Jackson, LLP.
Information Collected:

Information Disclosed and to Whom:
We may disclose any of the above information that we collect about our customers or former customers to our affiliates or to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law.
We will not sell, rent, or lease mailing lists or other user data to others, and we will not make your personal information available to unaffiliated parties, except as follows:
- to agents, website vendors and/or contractors who may use it on our behalf or in connection with their relationship with us;
- if we are unable to assist with your matter, but known an unaffiliated attorney or firm that may be able to help you, we may refer you and share information you provided us with that party; and
- as required by law, in a matter of public safety or policy, as needed in connection with the transfer of our business assets (for example, if we are acquired by another firm or if we are liquidated during bankruptcy proceedings), or if we believe in good faith that sharing the data is necessary to protect our rights or property.
We may also disclose collected information to the following types of nonaffiliated companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or with whom we have joint marketing agreements:
- financial service providers such as companies engaged in banking, consumer finance, securities and insurance; and
- non-financial companies such as envelope stuffers and other fulfillment service providers.
We do not disclose any non-public information about you with anyone for any purpose that is not specifically permitted by law.
We take appropriate security measures to help protect your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Security measures include, but are not limited to, security software, hardware infrastructure, and appropriate employee training. Access to collected personal information is limited to employees who need the information to provide services. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will always be unable to defeat our security measures.
